I was born in the year of the Dragon, and I’ve always wanted to start my own novel that way.

Interests: being a mom of 2 wonderful kids, reading (ok, audiobooks while I clean house), outdoors — biking, hiking, swimming, trampolining; learning to be organized (you didn’t know that was an interest, did you?), family functions galore, photography, writing, and natural remedies.

Learning or wanting to learn: Quilting, sewing, gardening (Chunk #1 wants to grow watermelons next year), how to drive (says my husband), Photoshop, Olympic trampolining…but since the Gladiators made a comeback I might go for that.

Favorite audio books (I listen to these annually): Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter series.

Other favorite listens: Young adult literature – The Sisters Grimm Series, The Charlie Bone Series, and I’ll update this list later.

Favorite movies: I love the oldies – Gaslight, Charade, Sunset Boulevard, Funny Face. I also like Pride and Prejudice (the old loooong one), Better Off Dead, Some Kind of Wonderful (still), So, I Married and Axe Murderer…

Favorite kid movies: Hoodwinked, all the Barbie movies  (I’m serious). I know there are more but I can’t think of them.

Favorite TV shows: LOST (even if the title wasn’t capitalized, I’d still have to capitalize it), 30 Rock, The Office.
