“Uh-huh, Uh-huh, Yo, Yo…”

Chunk #1 likes to dance (like nobody’s watching). This is the only picture that wasn’t blurry. Ain’t he handsome?

Here are some of his favorite songs:

-“The Alphabet Song” on the Fisher Price music CD (nice drums).
-“Hey Ya” ~OutKast
-“Allstar” ~Smash Mouth (he calls it the Shrek Song)
-“Upside Down” ~Jack Johnson (from the Curious George soundtrack)
-“We will Rock You” ~Queen
-“Jump” ~Van Halen
-“The Perfect Me” ~Deerhoof (the kids know this as “The Crazy Song”)
-“The Rockafeller Skank” ~Fat Boy Slim
-“Back in Black” ~AC/DC
-“Eruption” ~Van Halen (I didn’t know this, El Jefe just added it)
As you can see we are good, conscientious parents that are exposing our children to the classics.
Before you think we are raising a rockstar, Chunk #1 likes classical music, too. We check out classical music for kids (with books to go with them) at the library and he sits in front of the stereo and just listens to it. It’s kind of interesting to watch him. (You see how I added this last paragraph so that you don’t think I am a bad parent? I must have a complex.)

It’s nice to know there are still people out there who listen to such classics as “Back in Black” and “Jump”. Don’t tell anyone in my Sunday School class, but I am a closet rocker. Don’t forget to expose the chuncks to the best women rockers (i.e. Heart, Pat Benetar, Tina Turner etc…). I am now officially missing my college days. Does that date me?
Love the robot dance as well. Too cute.

I think you should quote “Love is a Battlefield” to your Sunday School class. No matter what you’re talking about, I’m pretty sure it is applicable 🙂

Is there a reason why your boy is flying both birds while dancing? Did he pick this talent up from his parents?

It could be a KMA family trait. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it at some reunions.
