“Uh-huh, Uh-huh, Yo, Yo…”

A shout out to my boy.

Among our many adventures this summer, Chunk #1 learned to ride a bike with no training wheels.  He loves his bike, but he was afraid to ride it with just the two wheels.  Back in the spring, one of his training wheels fell off.  I told him this was an opportunity to learn to ride without them.  He was hesitant.  So hesitant he didn’t get on for a long time.  Finally, in the great state of Idaho, where summer is paradise, I convinced the boy that he could do it and I would follow.
Followed, I did. But then he didn’t need me.
It took him five seconds to get it.
I hardly needed to run with him.
He had it!

And away...

And away...

...he...

...he...

...goes!

...goes!

Mama’s so proud
